It's Another White Wednesday!

And because White Wednesday is here I thought I better take some pictures today while the sun is out.

You never know what tomorrow will bring!

Here are a couple of old wedding veils that I enjoy displaying.

They actually both are displayed on an old birdcage I have in the living room.

I found this old chippy white birdcage at an estate sale years ago, stand and all.

I didn't even have to paint it!

The next item is a wonderful old display cabinet.

I originally had it in the shop, locked up selling little items in it.

But, it ended up getting broke into, so it came home with me and I've used it ever since.

I probably should paint the lock white, but I've just never gotten around to it.

When I first started collecting I was on the lookout for porcelain Josef figurines.

They had sentimental value, as I remember getting them as a child.

I've stopped collecting them as my taste has changed, but I've never quite gotten rid of my collection.

(sorry, I got a little side-tracked and veered away from the white theme for a moment)

I'm back on track!

Here is a fun old white metal tray.

And last a little wedding topper display I have under glass.

White Wednesday!

Well, I'm starting White Wednesday a little early.

Tomorrow is going to be a very busy day.

This White Wednesday I decided to show off my pretty Daphne.

Oh, what a wonderful smell!

My dear dad gave me these today, when I stopped by!

What a fun treat!

Today, I thought I'd show you a few things I picked up this past week-end while out shopping.

Aren't these the sweetest little dishes?

I couldn't resist them.

Which probably means I'll have a hard time letting them go.

How about a stash of vintage children's knitted mittens.

Perfect for December.

I know, it's a long ways away, but you've got to think ahead.

Lastly, an old clock with a sweet face.

Old chippy metal.

Thank you for stopping by and seeing a few of my white items.

Be sure to stop by Faded Charm and visit all the participants this week.

Always on the hunt!

I've been doing a little more thrift shopping throughout the week.

I love the hunt, it's always fun to find a treasure hidden among the "not so desirable" items.

One of the many things I pick up are dishes.

I just love the look of the mis-matched plates and bowls stacked up high.

So, tomorrow I'll be on the hunt again.

Until next time, "Happy Hunting".

Another Wonderful White Wednesday!

Wow, it's already "White Wednesday"!

I love White Wednesdays!

It's so much fun looking for things white.

I'll start off with simple and practical things around the house.

How about flour, useful and white!

Eggs...in pretty French dishes.

Freshly washed bedding.

Here is a wonderful vintage set I picked up this week-end.

The spinning tray underneath was missing but my #1 found it!

Yeah!

Vintage bowls and dishes, can you ever get enough of those?

Vintage millinery, I definitely can't get enough of that!

White Wednesday

I enjoy "White Wednesdays", hosted by Faded Charm.

I love looking at all the beautiful photos.

I thought it would be fun to participate this time.

So here are a few of my creamy, dreamy whites.

Vintage wedding toppers.

I love the color as well as the delicate flowers on many of them.

So pretty!

Ironstone!

Fluffy pillows with vintage lace!

Ruffles and Lace!

I enjoy picking up lampshades, especially old ones with a pretty feminine feel.

Just a few of my favorite things.
